At the first day of this month, our eldest living relative passed away. Half-way, I lost a colleague, and then another today, summing up to three since the past two weeks.

This evening, after work when I got home, I found her cold, stiff, and lifeless.

This month has been so cruel. Stop taking away something important from me, goddamit. Whoever or whatever is responsible for this consecutive mischief, please stop.

Time, as a sole basis for project development, is futile.
Progress can be made possible by velocity.
V = D/T, whereas D is the displacement and T is the time.

To keep a project healthy, you should be able to track the directions you are going to and allot the shortest possible time to accomplish your journey.

I don’t mean rushing things. When I say possible, it should not exclude quality nor does it promote quantity over quality.

Quality and quantity can both go hand in hand if you have proper management.

I know I can be whatever I want to be (a musician, a Star Wars fanatic, etc.) but this post is about being something professionally, which means I’m getting paid for what I do, a job for a living.

So if I’d have to choose my 2nd career, I’d want to be a/an:

Chemist (chemicals attract me so much I want to be with test tubes and flasks everyday)
Sound Engineer (cause I want to know the deepest technicalities on recording stuff)
Mechanical Engineer (inspi. Saw films)
Auto Designer (if the term is right, you know those who design the latest cars)
An Architect (I want to design infrastractures, too)
Interior Designer (because I get to know if I like a certain indoor setting or not, most have bad tastes though)
Repowoman (cause all I’ve heard of were repomen)
Tattoo Artist (I’m a human who loves tattoos without any tattoos.)
Veterinarian (cause I love animals)
Botanist (I damn love trees)
Human Biologist (I love humans, too. You know, anatomy, physiology, superior vena cava, aorta, synapses, neurons…)
Taxonomer (cause I like to classify things, living things on this matter)
last but not the least, but the greatest career I wanted to have since I was a child… an Astronomer (cause I love everything outside the planet… constellations, planets, white dwarfs, super nova, black holes, Betelguese, orion, Rose nebula, cosmos, galaxies, and all those stuff.)

Well, just something random to think of.

Random post. I don’t actually post about this topic on my personal blog because I rarely watch the television. Most of the time I do watch at the channels provided by <insert your favorite cable provider> however by some means I decided one time to watch the regular channels.

So I stumbled upon this new commercial by NESCAFE (not 100% sure if it’s new tho I just saw it). It’s for their new NESCAFE Chocolatte. So it’s something new, I meant the term chocolatte. What I was thinking, isn’t mocha what we regularly call coffee with chocolate? Why the hell would they name it chocolatte if we could just name it NESCAFE Mocha? After a second of thinking I contemplated that not all people know that mocha is actually coffee with chocolate. So if they named it NESCAFE Mocha it would sound boring, and to the commoners - they wouldn’t even know about the chocolate unless they read the contents in the package. So good marketing strategy, NESCAFE!

However, after spending some time on the channel there splashed the second NESCAFE commercial, it’s the NESCAFE Creamylatte this time. Well, no comments about the product until there was this object typography they did where they arranged some random food stands on the street and it spells as YOU R SPECIAL. At first glance I think it was oh-kay. But I realized it could be actually spelled as Your Special. If you know me I’m a specific grammar nazi when it comes to the usage of your/you’re, there/their, its/it’s. I know I’m not a perfect person when it comes to English but this part gives me total headache because even some native English speakers carry this disease of interchanging your with you’re and the other poor misidentified beings. So this triggered my bipolar tendencies and ruined my mood for about five minutes.

That’s it. I can’t do something about what is dead and gone. Perfect song for what it is I am currently at - zetsubou, despair, desperado. Whatever it is. I’ve waited for three long years for that moment. To see her and Arch Enemy perform live. To see them perform live. Or atleast, to hear them live. To hear Angela Gossow’s voice live. I thought this would be the perfect chance.

Fuck April. It’s been a total crack. Since the end of last year to the last day of March this year I’m perfectly happy. But April is a total bitch.

I don’t know what happened. Why everything suddenly turned from bliss to bitch. I just can’t fathom how that happened. But it did happen.

Will I ever hear her voice in the future? Most likely a no if it would happen here in the Philippines as that was their last tour ever on this country.

If I suddenly turn rich while they haven’t finished touring yet (for Khaos Legions), I still can’t go overseas as I’m not yet done with my contract with DOST. (Regarding the RA7687 scholarshit.)

In estimate, it would take another three years before they’ll create another studio album, that would be the time I’d finish my three-year contract. Perfect. I’ll go wherever they’ll be touring and avail the highest tier of audience pass to gain the greatest experience on their tour. And hopefully, Chris Amott will be stricken by lightning the second time and reunite with Arch Enemy again.

But as of this moment I’m haunted — Haunted that I’m being too ambitious. Haunted that I’ll never ever hear Angela’s voice for the rest of my life.
