Most people don’t realize that they actually lose time by trying to manage it. What they should practice is being able to determine what is needed to be done impromptu. This only requires their initiative, instincts, and a pinch of common sense.

How I would describe my 2012…

2012 filled up my hunger for concerts, so I made a summary.

Here’s the list of international artists I’ve been able to see and watch this year, in chronological order, regardless of whether I dig their music or not:

  1. Lamb of God (Feb 18-19)
  2. The Black Dahlia Murder (Feb 18-19)
  3. The Used (Mar 8)
  4. Dashboard Confessional (Mar 8)
  5. Cobra Starship (Mar 8)
  6. The Cab (Mar 8)
  7. Cyndi Lauper (Mar 17)
  8. The Maine* (Mar 31)
  9. Arch Enemy (Apr 28-29)
  10. August Burns Red (Apr 28-29)
  11. Blessthefall (Apr 28-29)
  12. Darkest Hour (Apr 28-29)
  13. Periphery (Apr 28-29)
  14. We Came As Romans (Apr 28-29)
  15. Set Your Goals (Jun 2)
  16. We Are The In Crowd (Jun 2)
  17. This Century* (Jun 2)
  18. Megadeth (Jul 29)
  19. Tonight Alive (Sep 22)
  20. The Pretty Reckless (Sep 30)
  21. A Skylit Drive (Sep 30)
  22. Mayday Parade (Sep 30)
  23. Marianas Trench (Sep 30)
  24. Forever The Sickest Kids (Sep 30)
  25. The Maine (Sep 30)
  26. The Wonder Years (Sep 30)
  27. Avastera (Sep 30)
  28. Mike Portnoy (Nov 6)
  29. Billy Sheehan (Nov 6)
  30. Derek Sherinian (Nov 6)
  31. Tony MacAlpine (Nov 6)
  32. Stephen Bishop (Nov 28)
  33. This Century (Dec 10)

* I’ve seen this artist’s show two times this year.

So that would sum up to 31 artists. This wouldn’t be possible if not for my work at PULP. And I’m very grateful. Looking forward to 2013!!! :D

At the first day of this month, our eldest living relative passed away. Half-way, I lost a colleague, and then another today, summing up to three since the past two weeks.
This evening, after work when I got home, I found her cold, stiff, and lifeless.
This month has been so cruel. Stop taking away something important from me, goddamit. Whoever or whatever is responsible for this consecutive mischief, please stop.
